I am Priya Vida Gordora, taking up a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a Major in Social Studies, currently in my third year at Metro Manila College.

Growing up in a low-income family, pursuing higher education seemed like an unreachable dream. The financial strain of tuition fees and living expenses weighed heavily on my shoulders, and I often doubted whether I would ever be able to go to college. However, the educational scholarship I was blessed to receive changed the trajectory of my life.

I was able to enroll at a reputable university and pursue my passion for teaching because of the scholarship. The financial burden was significantly lessened, which freed me up to concentrate on my academics and fully immerse myself in the learning process.

God led me on this journey with people who were willing to assist me, and He really used them as an instrument of blessing to me.

I hope to carry the knowledge and skills I have gained throughout my academic career and apply them in meaningful and impactful ways. I aspire to make a positive difference in my chosen field, whether it be through research, innovation, or other means. I pray for wisdom to make sound decisions and the strength to overcome obstacles that may come my way. I also hope to maintain a sense of gratitude and humility as I embark on the next chapter of my life.
